Will 265/75/16 tires fit on a 16x8 rim?

Thanks

Thanks WanDell. I only ask because I had my 265/75/16's put on my new 16x8 Eagle 058's this weekend (from my stock steel wheels) and I noticed that when I back out of my driveway and turn, I hear a rubbing sound. This definately was not present with the old wheels and does not happen when turning in a forward motion.

A bit perplexing....

Anybody have any ideas on what's causing this?

The are problay rubbing somewhere. It's probably on the plastic portion of the fenderwell of the front bumper's lower valance. You can probably trim either one easily.

Thanks ...I'll look...although it sounds more like a metal grinding than a plastch or rubber grind....
