Question on Tires and Wheels

I am getting new tires and rims, and I did some searching for what would look good, what would fit, and what I want. This is what I came up with. But I also have one more question in an 01 Screw what is the smallest rim hieght due to the brakes and everything. But basically I am looking at about a 18-16x10 rim with 4.5 backspacing with a 33x12.5 tire to match the rim. Does anyone see problems with this, I do not mind trimming a little bit of plastic. Also how far will these tires stick out past the edge of the fender flare. Thanks in advance Sorry one more stupid question or atleast making sure of something, but what is my bolt pattern for my lugs.

My personal opinion, is that I would not go with x10's. They stick out a lot and you cannot seem to keep your truck clean. My x8's stick out plenty for me, just make sure you get a good amount of back-spacing.

You are right. A 33x12.50 on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing will fit with only minor trimming of the front bumper's lower plastic valance. Also, you have to use at least a 16 inch wheel to clear your brakes. Here are some pics of mine with 16x10's and 285/75-16 (33x11.50) BFG's. The edge of my tire/wheel is just about even with the edge of the fender flares.

With that 10 inch wide rim you have Wandell it kinda looks like your tires are buldging out a bit. Is that normal?

almost all manufacturers recommend a 9-10 rim for a 33 12.50 just get the right offset and backspacing and you will be fine a 12.50 on a 8 rim will balloon out alot

Wendall's tires are normal... the balloning is normal for the tires he has on there (BFG All Terrains)

Your bolt pattern should be 5-135mm.

Plus, my tires are 285's. BFG recommends a maximum of a 9 inch wide wheel for them.

I'd go with the 10 inch wide wheels. You are comparing apples to oranges with our trucks and an 06. They are two completely different vehicles.
