f-150 tire size ?
I know you must get sick of these ? but each set up is unique one may work for you and not me. So I have a 01 screw 4x4 offroad I have the stock 17 in wheels with 315/70/17 bfg a/t. I did not put them on they came on the truck. My ? is this since these fit now with about 1/2in to an 1in clearance front and back could I go with a 305 or 315 16 in tire on a 16x10 and still hope to clear the front valance and oem side steps. I know the 10 in will push out the tires so I may need to go with the 305 if anyone has done this let me know please I don't want to do a lift kit and cranking down the torsion bars, well the truck already rides like a truck so I don't want to make the ride any rougher but will do what is necessary. I want the 10in wheels they just look better than the 8in. I like the deep dish look. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

I guess one of the questions that comes to my mind, is what is the setback on each of the wheels ?
I cannot recall what the setback is for the stock wheel, and there was no info on the 16x10's that you are looking at.
If the setback on the new wheels you are looking at, are more then the stocks, then you could have a rubbing on the inside.
Just a thought, when asking the question. Some more info might help in getting a good answer.

You never mentioned a lift, so Im going to assume you dont have one.
I personally find 315's too big for a stock truck, it just looks too stuffed. Not to mention, if you move to a 10" wide wheel, you probably will get a good amount of rubbing.
If you just mount some 305's in there on a 10" wheel, you can get them to fit fine with a little bit of trimming.
