Wheels/Tires, options?

I have a 2004 FX4 (new body style). I do not have a leveling kit up front so it would be with the stock 4x4 height. Can anyone tell me what my aftermarket wheel options will be if I want to run a 17 or 18 inch wheel with ~285/70/17 or 285/65/18 tires?

Thanks.

You have hundreds of options. I'd suggest a 8 or 9 inch wide wheel with 5 1/2 inches of backspacing.

Thanks. So many people have leveling kits that I was worried it was a necessity if you wanted to upgrade to aftermarket wheels and decent A/T tires.

Backspacing on your RIms

Wandell,

What is the backspacing on your Expy rims? What other fitaments do I need to worry about when I am looking at getting rims?

The wheels on my Expy are 22x9.5 inches with 6.7 inches of backspacing. I have some close up pics of fitment in my gallary. Width and backspacing are about all you need to worry about.

I'm lifting my truck on Friday and will have some stock F-150 Lariat rims for sale.
They are 18"
