Tire Pressure - Factory Tires

Guys, I'm running 30 psi front and 35 psi rear on my 265/70/R17 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S just like the sticker says, but they still look a little low. Would it be safe to increase the presssure about 5 psi all the way around? My typical loads in the bed are less than 500 lb and I don't tow.

Yeah... I have the same question....same tire and same truck... I was also told that running a little more air would help on fuel as the tires are a little "saggy" now...

Before I made the trip home from school in Dec, I was filling up and noticed all my tires looked a little low. So I pulled around to the air pump, and lo and behold, the fronts were at 30 psi and the rears were at about 33 psi. What the hell? I bet if we put about 33 in the front and 38 in the back, we'd probably get better gas mileage!

If those are P series tires, the max is probably 35. You don't want to go higher than max listed on the tire. The sidewalls of p series are much less stiff than LT series and look underinflated, even when inflated properly.
Another reason I will only use LT series tires.

30 psi seems relatively low, what is the max tire pressure listed on the tire itself? if it is 44psi max I would run 35.
