Im not sure on this one....... i have a picture of a guys truck that has 11 inches of lift with 38 inch tires.....but then RIZE Industries has a truck with a 8 inch lift with 37's....and im putting 9 inch lift total....and was thinking i should put 38's. The 38's on the 11 inch lifted looks too small.....And im not sure what to do. Im pretty sure the 38's will fit on the 9 inch lift. (all trucks are 2004-2005 F-150's)

 

What tire widths are you considering?

I believe bigtruck 311 has 9" of lift with torsion bars cranked and add a leafs. I think he has 38x15.5 on 16x10's... Checkout his gallery

 

ye i know bigtruck hes very helpfull, thats what i was thinking cause i know hes got 38's. i feel stupid for asking but what are torsion bars and what do they do?

 

Do a search on them... The change how far your front end sits off the ground. I do not believe you have torsion bars. The old body style was the end of them.

 

the new body style that you have does not have torsion bars, i wish i could help you more but i dont really know all the tricks and max tire sizes with lifts for the new body style, you might want to try this question in the 04-06 forum, there are guys over there running 9" of lift and 8" good luck
