New to this. Help me.

OK. This is my first truck. It's an 05 F150 XLT 5.4 2wd supercrew with 17" stock aluminum rims. I have been debating a leveling kit for some time. Now the question. What is the maximum tire size I can put on the stock rim with a 2" level kit and without a level kit? Thanks in advance.

I believe that 33 is the max with and without a leveling kit. 35's are usually reserved for full lifts. There may be some trimming to do without the leveling kit, but the look with the leveling kit would be alot nicer. I'm sticking with my leveling kit and 33's. Good luck.

The biggest you can go without the leveling kit is either a 285/70 17 or 295/70 17. I don't know for sure but I was told that with a 2.5" leveling kit you can fit 35's with stock rims but they will rub a little bit at full lock. I would recomend that you go with the leveling kit and either a 285s or 295s. I have a 2.5" SkyJacker leveling kit and 295/70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers.
Good Luck

He has a 4x2, not a 4x4. I know you can fit 33's with a leveling kit on a 4x2.
