what size rims and tires

what size rims and tires

i just got a 98 f250 4x4. I am wondering what tire and rim size i should go with. She is still at her stock height. Thanks.

Personally i would go with a 33" tire on a 16x10 rim. good luck finding a nice rim for the 7 lug.

Thank you...I wont have any rubbing issues? Are the rims hard to find?

You can fit 305/70-16's (33x12.50) with a 16x10 inch wheel on a 97-03 F-150 or F-250 light duty (7700lb) by trimming a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance and/or cranking up the torsion bars. Also, aftermarket 7 lug wheels for the F-250 light duty are very hard to find. I believe Eagle Alloy makes one.

so it looks like it might be best if I keep my stock wheels and just upgrade the tires.

You could do that and just buy some wheels when you find some you like. I'd suggest a 285/75-16 or 305/70-16.
