tire size problem

hi all im new to this forum.
I have an 03 f150 that came with p275/60/17
I changed them to svt lightning rims and tires which are p295/45/18
My pcm was reflashed to the "closest" tire size ford could find.
Needless to say the speedo is way out and my odometer is gathering miles to fast.
My question is-Is there a tire in 18" that is the same circumfrence as the p265/60/r17???
Any help would be apreciated.
Also my truck is a 2 wheel drive. Can I not put larger tires on the back only?

Thanks---Joe

I see two options. Go to some of the tire manufacturer's websites and find a tire the same height as your OEM tires or buy an aftermarket computer tuner (Superchips, Hypertech, etc) and recalibrate your speedometer/odometer with the tires you have.

thx 4 the reply, has anyone put slightly larger tires on the rear only?
I like the raked look but not sure if it affects the vehicles computer.

It won't affect the computer, but you won't be able to rotate your tires which will decrease tire life.
