OKAY, here goes another tire/wheel question that has probably been asked and answered already! SORRY. I have an '04 FX4 with a daystar 2.5" leveling kit. I have stock 18 wheels. I'm thinking about switching to 17s because of availability and price. I wanna go with a tire size comparable to 35s. Anyone else done this?? Have pics??? Opinions???

 

I'd go with an 18x9 inch wheel with 5 or 5 1/2 inches of backspacing and a 325/60-18 which is approximately a 34x13.00-18.

 

will the 325/60/18 fit the stock rims?

 

They will fit the OEM 18x7.5 inch wheels but are a little too wide. Usually running too wide of a tire will cause the center portion of the tire to wear slightly faster than normal.
