Mine is the first yellow one. Second one was done up for that company. Going to do mine pretty much the same. I have the same light bar, diffrent lights, on its way. Same wheels and tires. Fenders next.

did they rub on front valance or the plastic fender liner? is your friend's truck a 4x2 or a 4x4 with 315's.it is amazing that 315's with robby gordon wheels don't rub.would like to see pictures of that truck.

Well, I think there was a little confusion when you mentioned in your first post they rub big time and then in post #15 they barely touch the plastic.

Remember what happens with full compression and full lock at the same time. But I know what it feels to be looking to maximize the space with the largest tire possible. I hope you can make the right decision and good luck with your project.

I wanted to go with the 35 x12.4 Toyo's on my 04 4x4 but I had the shop set them on the rims and mount them. I could tell right away that it was a no go 33's yes but no way with 35's I put the 6" lift on and all is fine. When you start to cut things to make things fits,it never really works. I have been jeeping for over 14 years now and I have seen more than one person go that route and it comes back to bite them. You can check out my rig in this email or see it in this month's Off road Adventures magazine.
It is in letters and stuff under Grocery Getter

Don't go with 285, That is way to small. Gotta go with 35's, If I got prerunner fenders I was going to put 37's on.

Dude it sounds like you trying to do to much without getting a lift. Stop being cheap and get some type of real lift and you can run the 35's easily.
