My family and I went out to eat today, and when I sat my 19 month old son down from unbuckling him, he started looking at his reflection in the HD wheels I have. Cool, right? Another truck lover in the making . . . Then he gets a little closer, and starts grinning at himself. Then, he sticks his hand through the wheel and tries to grab the brake rotor. NOT GOOD! I was standing pretty close to him, so he didn't actually touch anything . . . but I have no idea how hot the rotor was and if it would've burned him or not - I'd been driving in town - stop and go . . .

Maybe I'm overreacting, but I never would've thought of it until it happened.

 

Oh yeah, it was hot! Glad you caught him. That was a close call.
