I am ging to get some new wheels for my 04 FX4 pretty soon and cant decide what to get. I'm picking between Helo Maxx 6 and EXtreme Alloys 6089, both will be 17x9. Does anyone know the backsacing on these wheels? I'd put up pics of each wheel but I am having problems.

 

Im not sure about the extremes, but the Helo s wont fit with just 17's. You need to get the 18's in order to clear the calipers.

 

He has an 04 so 17's should fit. Just be sure to check before you start mounting tires. I believe the backspacing is 5 inches on those wheels but check with the manufacturer to make sure.

 

I have an 04 too and the Helo's wont fit. I know other 17's will fit, but not the Helo's. The inner face of the wheel is not machined the same as stock 17's, its a little too small for any new body style f150. Found out the hard way, now waiting on 20's
