wheel adapters

A friend of mine just bought the same rims as I have, 22" Giovanna Anzios. He drives a 2004 Ford Explorer. Ford changed its bolt pattern from 5x135mm to 6x135mm for 2004. He bought a 6x139mm, not knowing the difference between the 2 bolt patterns. The wheels were purchased from ebay, so he cant return them. I believe I saw somewhere that somebody makes wheel adapters. Does anybody know of the site or product? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I've seen wheel adaptors advertised. The problem is they are gonna push the wheels outward and create fitment problems.

I agree with Wandell.

But if you still want them, search the forums for Richgonfishn, he had custom adapters made so he could lift his truck and keep the awesome rims he had. I think he spend around $400 for the set of four.

AIM Industries 1-800-289-9980 has BILLET ADAPTERS. If you have the new TRUCKIN magazine Vol. 331, #8 JUNE 7 - July 4. Page 190. The have all kinds. Good luck.
