20's or 22's?
All right guys, here's my issue. Right now i have the stock 17's on my 04 1/2 SCrew. It is 2wd so it sits a bit lower than you guys with 4wd, which I personally like. I was looking around at rims and I'm torn between getting 20's or 22's for it. I'm looking at the Foose "Heat" rims - and they make them in both sizes. Please post pics of your new 2wd 150's on either size, or just help me figure out what the better option would be. I think 22's look decent on a lowered truck but I really dont want to lower it, just want to know what it'd look like w/o a drop and 22's. I would still like to be practical with it - IE towing. Show me some pics!

I just bought 22's for my new truck and shod them with 305/40/22 tires.
I normally don't like 22's on vehicles because I think it makes them look too "ghetto". However, the wheel wells on the new F-150's are so big that 22's don't look out of place at all -- I actually think 20's look a tad "undersized" when they're installed on these trucks.
I can't show you how my truck looks with the rims and tires on since the vehicle hasn't arrived yet -- probably another week or two till my baby's in! However, you can click on my gallery to see the rims and tires if you want to.
Good luck!

ok, well im pretty sure 22's are the best option, but i think i need to have a tire with a nice sidewall on it too. Do you think the 305/45/22 tires would do? what are my options on getting a little bit bigger side wall that will look ok/fit? Keep in mind, i need a bit of a sidewall for towing.

after alot of thought, im going to go with 20's. i like the look of the 22's ALOT, but based on practicality, i really dont think the tires that would fit are enough sidewall for towing a boat. I really dont wanna go out and spend all them bones on some rims and then have them get all warped/bent because of a lack of rubber between them and the pavement. plus, they're 1g cheaper. thanks guys!
