would a 285/70/17 be any smaller than a 33/12.50/17??? would it be a noticable difference u could see just by looking, or not??

cause, i've been lookin at 33"s but i found a tire i like better, but it only comes in a 285/70/17....

 

285/70/17 = 33x11.50x17

 

I dont think the difference would be horribly noticeable...if you like that tire best then go for it.

 

The 285 would only be narrower, and only by one inch (Roughly) from a looks standpoint no one would really notice. This could be an advantage in milage and in sloppy conditions since it will not have to push so much crape. Less contact area less work for the truck as well.
