Brake noise

Ok, I know that there are a lot of posts on brake noise out there but i did a search and couldn't find anything that really answered my question. I have a 2002 F-150 Supercrew with 20,000 miles on it. The brakes have never given me any problems until now. I had a normal oilchange/inspection done in January and the brakes were fine. Along about mid-February they started making this awful squeaking noise and it sounds like its coming from all of them. I don't think my pads could have worn that much. It has rained where i live and i do take my truck through the dirt so maybe they are just dirty. Does anyone have any suggestions for me that i can try before I end up taking it in to get checked.

You can get some brake cleaner and spray down all the pads and rotors. Works best if you remove the wheels, then you can check the pads yourself. It's either brake dust buildup or the wear stip is contacting your rotor. It does sound more like brake dust.
