F-150 7700GVW 4x4 Brake Parts?

Does anyone know what kind of front brake disc rotor is compatible with the 2001 F-150 4WD with the 7700GVW package? I originally was told this was basically an F-250 with an F-150 body - stronger frame, larger brakes, more load capacity than a regular F-150. I need to know if this would use F-250 rotors and pads or would it just use the F-150 7-lug rotors and pads.

When did the F150's start running 7 lug wheels?
My '97 F250 LD (7700 GVWR) has them and I always thought the F150 had 5 lugs?
Maybe that's what Ford did when they dropped the Light Duty version of the F250?

From what I understand in 2000 or 2001 Ford discontinued the F250 Light Duty and replaced it with an F150 with upgraded towing capacity (7700GVW package). The entire brake system is different from what I can tell. The rotors are all completely different, obviously, since they have to fit over 7 lugs instead of 5. The front pads are certainly different for the 7-lug rotors. I found them listed separately.

Check out TireRack.com and BuyBrakes.com for replacement rotors and pads. And if in doubt, call the manufacturer before purchasing.

Good luck.
