Tires For 2002 250 Sd 4x4
I WAS WONDERING WHAT THE LARGEST TIRE I COULD RUN ON MY STOCK 16-7 WHEELS, I HAVE 265/75 16 NOW AND WAS LOOKING AT THE BFG TA RADIALS, ANY INFO ON THE SIZE OR OPINION ON MY TIRE CHOICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I've heard a few people run 285/75R16s on the stock 16x7" rims, but thats about the widest tire you want to run, although 285 isnt recommended on a 16x7 inch wheel by many (some tire shops might not even mount them...), 265/75R16 is the largest that is usually recommended on a 16x7 rim, I know it is on the BFG all-terrain's
You might want to go ahead and look into some 16x8's or 16x10's, then you could easily start looking at 305's or 315's...Im not sure what the biggest tire you can stuff under the SD's is without modification though.
