Put on lift and tires

Well I finally recieved my lift and tires thanks to all of the people here your advice helped quite a bit on deciding what to do to my truck still have a light bar for the front to put on and four wheel parts forgot to send my center caps but at least the hard stuff is done. Thanks Wandell for the gm tow hook idea I trimmed the frame and installed some they look great. Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

It's 3" body lift with 35" mickey thompson baja belted hp's I am having a little bit of trouble getting the air pressure right on the tires. Max psi is 30 I am running around 22 right now the local off road shop says they have had to run them as low as 20 to get them to run right. There is a little vibration at 50 mph. They say the tires never run completely smooth though.

Where's the offroading pics? You can't build a truck and set it on a paved road... hell, the shiney tires even make me sad

Thanks to all of you with positive comments. explosivo I just did the work on the truck this weekend. It will get used but really do you need to be such an idiot about it. I will continue to clean my truck and take care of the things I work hard for.

Love the black on black wheel/tire combo. Looks good with your white truck. Actually it looks mean!

Thanks, I am really happy with the way it turned out. I am thinking about taking off the white molding around the wheels and change them to black not sure how it would look though.

Good response about taking care of it, truck looks great.
Did ya go with the 16x10. how wide are your tiresI was looking at the pit bull tires but dont know to new i guess. Im going with the 3 inch body,
9.75 x16.5 eagle 143 and 35 hawgs. The hawgs are 14.50 wide but i dont see a problem. The plastic has gone away under the bumper wont rub..hehehehe..i ordered the fabtech baja ft gaurd with the skid plate.....But your truck looks great.....

the wheels are 17x9 procomp series 97's with baja belted hp's 35x12.50. I had to trim a little off the front valence but that was it A 14.50 would be a little wide I think and you may have to trim the little horn off the lower control arm to keep it from rubbing depending on the backspacing of your wheels. will the skid plate work with a body lift. I thought the fabtech ones were only for trucks with fabtech lifts. Let me know if that works out.

WOW!

Wow, I'm new to this forum and I just found what I want to do to my truck! Your truck looks awesome! I read you went with a 3" body lift? Which one? You also went with 35x12.50's, any rub? Also, do you know what back spacing on your wheels? Finally, who makes your Prerunner Bumper?

Hey Sniper, I went with the performance accesories body lift. The prerunner bar is actually for a 92-96 F150. It is made by pro comp. The wheels have 4.5 inches of backspacing. Sean

The best price I found on it was at summit racing. To steal wandell's line "Don't forget your gap gaurds."
