Exclamation Need help

What is the biggest tire i can put on the stock rim wihtout lift? Please help as my back tires look like slicks. Thanks

Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? Also, what size wheels do you have?

I have 4x4 off road package and i currently have 265/70 r 17's. Sorry i didnt post this originaly. Thanks

I believe you can go with a 315/70/17, but I wouldn't. It will really fill up the fenderwells and possibly cause a light rub. This is not the real problem, though. The problem is that a tire that big will really limit your axle articulation, meaning less suspension travel. Tires that big will also kill your in town gas mileage and power, as it takes so much more effort to turn them. You would probably be more happy with a 285/70/17 or a 305/70/17. I prefer the 285 because it is bigger than stock, but it won't kill gas mileage and power like a larger tire will. The 285 is a 33"/12.50", the 305 is a 34/12.50, and the 315 is a 35/12.50 I believe.

Thanks man, and i can put all ot those on my stock rims? thats really what im lookin for. Thanks for the help man ill let you know what i go with

Japickar is right. You could also use the new 295/70-17 (34x12.00) Nitto Terra Grappler.
