Got a problem! going to get rims that have 5.8 backspacing.. And a lift (3.5in spindle lift) that says to have a max of 4 3/4in backspacing.. The only solution I have other than new rims is a 1in wheel spacer/extension.

Does anybody have any experience using this.. Any drawbacks, other than more weight put on the bearings? Any other problems from wheel spacers or are they pretty good to use?

Any recomendations on manufacturers?

How about any other reasonable solutions to this problem?
