Question another question on wheels

If I get the BFG AT KO in the 285-75-16, What is the better wheel width to go with, a 16X8 or 16X10? I saw a picture of a another members truck with the 16X10's and was suprised to see how much they filled the Wheel well! And he had a 3" body lift, mines stock! Will a 16X8 Wheel make a 285-75-16 too tall? heck, will the 16X10 be too tall for stock (4WD) supension? I'm so confused!

Personally, I think the 16x10's look better. I would go ahead and go with a 305/70-16 (33x12.50). It's about an inch wider than the 285's. THe only reason I got 285's instead of 305's is because BFG didn't make that size in 2001. They will fit a stock 4x4 fine. I had to trim about 1/2 inch of plastic off the front bumper's lower valance to fit my 285's on 10 inch wide wheels with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing. Here's my Screw at stock height with 285BFG's on 16x10's.
