Question 7 lug, 17inch wheels for '04 F150

Any suggestions on replacement wheels available for my new 2004 F150 scab w/ 8ft. bed - boy are the stock painted rims butt-ugly... American Racing and American Eagle do not have any rims in that configuration....any help is appreciated, thanks.

Seems you and I have the same truck style: 8200 GVW, 410's, new 300 motor.

So this won't prolong your pain: YOU AND I ARE SCREWED BY FORD S H I T HEADS

NO ONE MAKE'S WHEELs FOR THIS MODEL ON THE OPEN MARKET...other than the manufacturer for ford! And these
a z z e z want more then $120 for an frigg'n ugly lousy steel wheel.

Here is what to be prepared for: There is a deep ridge around the wheel, you can feel it: just look near the valve stem. In Winter when this ridge area in the wheels get's full of slush, ice or road crud it freezes and your steering wheel will wobble like a bobber on a windy lake. The sh i ttt eee wheels do no allow that crap to flow off the rim!

The calipher is too big for earlier 7-lug wheels so don't waste your time...I've been there done that.

If there was a way to find out who makes those rotors 4 ford the ideal thing would be to order BLANK rotors and have them drilled for the ford new 6-bolt pattern....then you and I would have a whole universe of wheels and tires to select from....maybe, depends on the calipher clearance...seems to me it should be okay..but...anyway

I bought a lift kit to raise the front end -an other ****-off point I could rant and rave about- and the 3" kit did a great job.

Another thing 'our' trucks have D rated tires...well good frigg'n luck trying to find good D off road tires...that aren't as low to the ground as a babys butt!.

The pukes at ford have a nice truck in this heavy duty 150 but they sure had their head up their a zzz the way they designed it...

Oh , one more thing...wait till slush and ice on the cab roof slide down the windshield and bury the windshield washer nozzle and FREEZE...boy were these designers stupid mother-truckers.
