What tires?
I have a 2003 FX4 sc with the 17 inch wheels. The stock tires size is 265/70 R17. What is the largest tire I can put on these wheels with the stock FX4 height?
And any recommendations for a not-too-pricey 3 or 4 inch lift kit? Thanks!

You can fit as large as a 315/70-17 (35x12.50) by using the stock wheels and cranking up the torsion bars and/or trimming the front bumper's lower plastic valance. This is an extremely tight fit however.
As far as an inexpensive lift, the only inexpensive lift is the Performance Accessories 3 inch body lift.
