Question Front Brakes Dragging

Need some help ('99 F150 2wd 4.6L). I tried to do a quick brake job and replaced the front pads. The next day I checked the hubs and they were extremely hot. Found the front brakes dragging so I pulled them apart and repacked the bearing while I had everything off. No change still to hot. Replaced the Calipers with another stock set and changed the brake fluid. No change still dragging and now I have at least one warped rotor to boot. So this weekend I replaced the master cylinder. Still no change front brakes still dragging. {Don't want to replace the rotors until I solve the problem hate warp brand new ones} What am I missing????????

did you hang the calipers from the brake lines while changing the pads. Letting the calipers hang by the hoses can cause internal damage to the hose and a restriction can result. The restriction keeps the fluid pressure in the caliper and gives you the dragging brake problem. Sounds like you have changed everything else, might want to give new brake lines a try.

No, I always tie them up. I know brake lines can colapse and restrict the flow, but wouldn't they be soft or slightly compressed while under pressure? and what are the odds of both of them going bad at the same time?
However since I don't have any better ideas and this one should be cheap compared to what I have already replaced I'm going to give it a try. thanks for the input.

The damage is normally from the inside so they don't always have any outword signs of damage. It is unusal for both to go bad, especally simce you didn't let the calipers hang from them. I have seen them twisted from the calpiers being installed wrong and they still work. Only other simple suggestion is did you clean and lube the caliper slides when you did the pads? They can get sticky and hang up the caliper causing dragging.

i had my right front hose bracket get alittle bent and the hose would get pinched inbetween the bumpstop and lower control arm. hose looked fine but fluid would only flow one direction.

so i replaced calipers hoses and bleed till all clean fluid came out. i got 116k out of the hoses and calipers.
