how do I bleed the brakes?

how do I bleed the brakes?

I have to push the pedal almost all the way down after changing pads.

after changing pads you should have to push pedal down maybe up to five times to reseat the piston to the pads.

if it is still doing it after you pump them atleast 20 times i would suspect one of the caliper banjo bolts backed out when you pulled calipers and is leaking. there the 14mm ones on the back of the caliper they hold the brake hose on. i have seen these back out a few times after a brake job. i check them everytime i take a caliper off now and havent had any problems since.
