Hey guys,

I am looking at springing for the Goodyear Fortera HL tires for my '01 XLT Sport ORP 4x4 SuperCab to replace the fetid and steaming pile of King Kong dung that my Wrangler RT/S's are. I just hit 37K or so on them and my drive wheel is almost bald and the other 3 aren't looking to hot either. I drive alot of stop and go traffic here in the 'burbs of Houston... so I guess it's no wonder that my tires are shot to hell already. I was thinking I would get at least 50K out of them.. but I think that was a pipe dream. Anyway, I did a search on "Fortera" here on the forums and found just a few threads concerning them... most recently July of last year I think. Anyone have any thoughts pro/con for these puppies. They seem just like what the doctor ordered for my squealling, unable to corner for crap, slip and slide and hydroplane at 35mph truck.
