Need information on Bfg Allterrain KO's in 285/70/17. Want to know how they affect ride quality, handling, and gas mileage over the stock 265/70/17 Wrangler RT/S. Any information would be appreciated.

 

I have 285/75-16 BFG AT KO's which are the same height and width as the 285/70-17's (approximately 33x11.50). I love mine. The ride and handling is great. I think you'll love them, especially compared to the Goodyear Wrangle RTS, which are not a good tire. At least that's what the majority of RTS owners have said. I don't think you'll notice much of a difference in milage or performance since the 285's are only and inch taller and wider than the stock 265's.
