Post Any problems fitting 20x10" rims??

I have a 1998 4wd Ford Expedition and was wondering if there would be any problems fitting 20x10" rims on my truck. These rims are pretty wide so I just wanted to make sure they were ok before I buy them. Also what size tire would you recommend with these rims? Thanks for the help.

Thumbs up

the answer to your question is yes you can install 20x10's on your 4x4 and a good tire size is a 305-50-20 i like the toyos but if you dont want to spend alot of money goodyear just released a 285-50-20 in there gt2 modelit is alot cheaper than any other tire out there

Question

Do either of you know if 20" inch rims will affect the 4wd system? I have been told this, but I am not sure if I really believe it.

How far do the 20 X 10's stick out?
How do they look on the trucK? Pics?

Thanks for the info,
Crewie

Crewie,

I don't see any complications in putting 20"s on a 4wd, but don't hold me to it because I am not an expert. I have seen another Expedition with a set of 20x10 with 305/50 tires. It looked great and the tires filled up the wheels wells. I have a 4wd Expedition and I will probably either go with the 20" with 305/50 tires or 22" rims with 305/45 tires. I will try to find the picture of the Expedition with 20x10" and post it. If you find another new information, please post. Thanks
Robert

Cool

dr,
Why go to 20" rims, your rig looks sweet ! I have never heard of Lexani rims, are you happy with them? I really need to upgrade my stereo, your set-up is where I looking to go. Nice job.
