Question Tire Rotation

Guy's help me out....When rotating radial tires I was always told not to cross rotate, just front to back and vise versa. But reading my owners manual it does show to cross rotate. Have I just been following a old wive's tail about radials or is the book wrong.

Thanks
Don

For radial tires, the following is recommended by most all tire manufacturers. Cross the drive tires, bring the non-drives straight back. Hope this helps.

If they are Goodyears just do the front to back I am a manager at a goodyear store so I know them. I would think to just do the front to back no matter what they are or call the dealer and ask them
