Question Tire sizes??

I hear alot of people say you can fit 305/70 R16's on a stock 4X4 F150....does anyone have pics of trucks with 305's 295's and/or 285's?....I want to be absolutely sure before i dump a load of money into tires that don't fit.

Thumbs up

I have a '98 4x4 with the stock 16x7 aluminum rims, and had 285/75r16 BF Goodrich AT Ko's mounted today. At the tire dealer we did a turning test and the closest they came to rubbing was about 1/2 an inch, sweet investment.

Cool

You asked about 305/70R/16's fitting on a stock F150 4x4, If you research the message board for the last 100 days you will find a picture of a truck of KKIRT's. I am pretty sure he has 305's on his truck and it is sharp looking. I am looking to put new wheels and tires on my rig also. I was checking and if I am not mistaken 305/75R/16 are equal in size to 33X12.50/16. If this is the case then I think I am going to go with the BFG A/T 33x12.50/16.50. Let me know how you make out. I hope this goes through O.K., first time sending a message.

They are 305/70/16's. They are the same height as the 285/75/16, but a little wider. Kkirk's truck looks awesome!! You should check it out.

I'm not sure that 33x12.50x16.50's will fit without rubbing--especially under full compression or turning. You should check into it. I know that Kkirk had to trim his mudflaps for the 305/70's

Many more modifications to come
