Why are the lightning wheels on tire rack @ $199 and the Ford delaer for $450? Does anyone believe tire rack could get them and sell for $199? I think $450 is a pretty high markup if someone else can sell for less than half of that. But, I have seen tires on tire rack that when asked they said were on backorder. No turely their fault but they should not advertise something they can't sell. Like software that never shows up: vaporware, vaportires, vaporwheels.

Maybe the reason Ford sells the wheels for $450 is because they don't have locks on them!
Once the locks become more available, they might lower their price to $199...

I spoke with Ford SVT this morning. They confirmed Lightning Bob's 6/3 posting on black only locks being available through Ford. I registered my complaint, but got the 'subject to change' response. They knew of no other source but said McGard may be coming out with them. I called McGard @ (716) 662-8980 and they said they indeed provide the black wheel locks to Ford, however, they have no plans to make chrome locking nuts at this time. I asked them to consider doing so. They said call back in a couple of months. Maybe if all you Lightning owners out there called...
