Tire problems
I have a 99' 4X4 that came with Goodyear tires. I have rotated them every 5-10k. I am very unhappy with these tires as the tread has become very uneven(like if you do not rotate them enough)
Has anyone else had this problem? I think maybe they are to soft, but idunno.
What is the best way to correct them? I am think of just trashing them and buying BFG

Ditch em and buy some BFGs. GY sucks and BFG is kinda expensive but you'll have a really good tire.

I love my free Bridgestone Dueler AT's I just put on my 4X4 Exp. I did also consider the BFG KO's, but have heard nothing but good about the Dueler AT's, plus they were about $80 cheaper per tire. I got 5 Dueler AT's 265/70/17's mounted/balanced for just $635. If I had went with the BFG,s I would have ended up spending about $400 of my own money. With the money I saved, I'll be able to put some new tires on my lightning..

Thanks sixguy. I will research Bridgestone now. I really haven't heard much about them. I like the thought of saving $$$.

Best thing you could do! Hated the GYs for the same reasons. They had to be balanced regularly as well as rotated. They vibrated like crazy, no traction in any condition... especialy in the rain. Snow was a nightmare.

Still have the original Goodyear Wranglers on my ride. They are truly the smoothest tire I have had on a truck with the exception of a set of Michelin XC LT4's. One other note. I have rotated them but have never had them balanced since they ride so smooth.
