I am sure this is a very common question, but here go's.

I wanted to put new wheels and tires on my 2001 F150 4x4. I have found a great deal on a set of 33/12.5/15 and was wondering if they would fit w/out a lift of any kind? Are there any complaints on 15" wheels? I would appreciate any info on this post. thanks for the help.

I love it! I have never heard the FM40, but after all of the research I did on exhaust before investing, the Ravin system was the best.

 

I dont think 15" wheels will fit over the front brakes or the rear brakes if you have disc brakes back there! 15 inchers didnt fit on my 99' f-150 and I dont want you to buy some and have them not work for you!

Actually SOME 15" rims will fit. It all depends on the back spacing. I know for a fact that Snowball has 15" rims on his truck. But the largest tire that will fit on a stock 4x4 is a 305/75/16. You have to get new 16x8 rims for this to work, otherwise the tire will balloon out more and might rub. But if you don't want to get new rims 285/75/16 tires will fit on the stock rims and they tuck up really well inside the fenders when you flex it, or at least mine do. You could get the 33/12.50 to work but you might have to crank the tortion bars up front some and do a little bit of triming.

Well, why 15" rims in the first place? Just get the 16x8's, they look really good.

Big4x4, I see you are from Dallas. I'm in Dallas often and will keep an eye out for your truck, cause I never miss one with 4 KC's on the front. By the way, what made you think to do that, cause I thought I was the only one that thought of the 4 on the front

By the way, you ever seen a big lifted white F150 in Dallas, with a bunch of KC's on it, and roof rack?

i have a 97 4x4 with 4" lift and 35/12.50/15 tires and rims and dont have any complaints. i think that it makes the tires look even bigger with 15 inch rims.

I have seen that F150. Is that yours? Badass looking truck. I put the 4 KC's because I think the Manic guards look weird with all that space between the lights, I also needed the extra light at my ranch for night driving. I live in Denton, but I go to Dallas now and then. Look for me; I have the yellow covers on the lights. Can’t miss it!
