Question What type of tread life on bfg mt vs at

I can't decide on BFG A/T or the M/T's. I really like the m/t's but not sure what type of life expectancy. I've had the a/t and liked them, but I might want some more aggressive tires. Anybody who is running the m/t's, what type of mileage are you getting? Thanks in advance!!

moose01,
had the mud terrains on a toy4x4 and got 35,000 miles. Still had tread left when my truck was stolen.Personally, I think they look twice as good as the A/T's...Just my opinion.

moose01,
i've had several sets of the mt's and they last great for a mud tire, i never got less than 40,000 out of a set...if you need a mud tire these are tough to beat. i went with the gy mt/r this time and it seems to be lasting as well as the bfg, time will tell for sure though. good luck, Rich.

Thanks guys for the info. It looks like I will be going with the m/t. 40K miles is good enough. Thanks again.

Everytime I get a chance. A friend of mine has a ranch near Dallas that I like to go to. There is also a couple of places around my house I like to show off my truck, but these stock tires are terrible in the mud. Can't wait for the new m/t's.

I am thinking too about gettin eather the ATs or the MTs and cant decide. I would rather get the MTs but its the same with me, the only reason i cant decide is becasuse of the milage i would get on the MTs. I will be doing a decent amount of highway driving also. Im only 17 and this is a big purchase for me and i dont want to get some tire that wont last. I was thinking 285/75/R16. On here i hear that they can last for 40k, but some of my friends tell me that i would probally only get 20k, 30k at the most out of them. Somebody persuade me to get the MTs
Thanks
Brian

Aw man, get the Goodyear MT/R. They look so sweet! I think they're supposed to last longer than the BFG's too.

This has been said on here before and I'll say it again, because now I can attest to it. Last Friday I put a set of 315/75R15 BFG AT's on my truck. The ride is phenomenol, and I love the look of them on my truck. (pics will be coming later this week)

BFG A/T's rule! of course im a little biased, however . no but seriously, both M/T and A/T are great tires. the A/T will probably give you a longer tread life and slightly less highway noise, while the M/T will give you better off-road traction and just looks BADASS! you can't go wrong with either, good luck!
