rear pad wear?

Hi Guys
I'm the original owner of a F150 4x4 extended cab and have a question for you.
I have 105 thousand miles and just put in my 3rd set of front pads
but the rears have never been touched.
My brake repair shop says this is normal with most of the newer fords he's been seeing,it seems to me my rear brakes can't be doing much braking if after 105,000 miles their only 1/2 worn out.

Anyone else seeing this on their trucks?

It pretty much stands to reason.

1) Virtually no weight in the rear (unless you are towing/hauling)
2) Laws of physics: under braking, all the weight shifts to the front.

Basically, your front brakes do all the work.

I replaced the rear pads on my 99 Supercab 4wd with 70k miles. I was selling it to my in-laws so I wanted it to be safe. Pads were not all used up, maybe another 15k miles.
