Hey tlocke do you have any pics of your truck? I have the 285s and am thinking of doing a 2 or 3" body lift. Just curious how it will look.

My 2 cents worth

If you're gonna stroke it, POWERSTROKE IT!!!

powerstrock73,
The only pictures I have can be viewed by the link in my signature. I went with the 2" PA body lift. It comes with front bumper relocating brackets, but not rear bumper brackets. I moved my rear bumper up by relocting new holes on the stock rear bumper bracket. If you don't do this the raer bumper looks kinda funny. The reason I went with the 2" lift was I though that 285's might look too small with a 3" lift. I am very happy with my 2" lift, and I think it looks good.

Post should I do it?

getting ready to bolt on some Brigestone Dueler AT's 265\75\16's and I was wondering if anyone has had a bad experience with these.

Also wondering if I should go for 285's, check out my sig, do ya think they will be too much for the wheelwells? I was told they won't fit by the guy at firestone.

anyone?

Thumbs up

I have those tires, and they are great. They don't produce alot of noise at highway speeds. I have the 285/75/r16's and they fit fine. I have a 2" body lift(for looks), but I had the 285's prior to installing the body lift. There is no rubbing at all, they fit fine.

Buy the tires... Best tires I've ever had. Perform well on road, off road, and in mud.
