Question Big skinny tires

Around here, and at my recreation property we have soils conditions which contain cohesive clays. Generally thinner tires work better than wide tires for us here. My F150 4 x 4 has the factory 245-75's. I would like to go to 235-85's. Has anyom\ne done this ? Any pictures or tire brand recommendations ?

As the tread pattern will be similar, just not as wide, you can pretty much utilize the results found here at f150online. You might also check out www.ford-diesel.com to see which tires people have been using and what results they have gotten. The "dually" owners are mostly restricted to narrow tires in back. Some have upgraded to mud-terrains. Also, I think 235/85 is the "standard" size for a SD truck. I got the "optional" 265s.
