Post '92 F150

Hey fellas,
I'm new to the board and I'm here with my first question. I've got a '92 F150. The original owner put on what looks like Outlaw II 15x7 wheels. I dropped $300 for new front coils to make it level. My first question is: Will 31x10.50s fit without rubbing? And my second question is how do I take that stupid plastic airdam off the front of my truck? Thanks in advance.

About the air dam - If you look under the front end, I think you will find that the air dam is just pop-riveted onto the bottom lip of the bumper. At least that's what I think I remember seeing.
About the tires - I have stock 265/75R15 A/T's, they are about 31" diameter, and 265mm = 10.4" wide on a 4x4.

I would leave the airdam on, because it vents the air for a few reasons (don't ask me the specifics). My last one was a '92 4x2, put 31x10.50 all terrains on with no problem on 15x8 wheels. In addition, I also had those cheap coil spring lift spacers that I pounded/twisted into the front springs (because they were slightly worn). 31's should fit fine with new springs

I have a 1990 F-150 4x4 which is almost the same as your '92. I put Eibach coil springs on the front to level it out as well. I had 31's on there even before I put the leveling kit on and there were no problems. I'm planning on putting 32" muds on next. I believe this is the biggest tire that will fit stock (besides the leveling kit). 31's will be no problem.

About the air dam thing--- I took mine off because I thought it made my truck look lower in the front. It kinda looks weird at first, but I've gotten used to it. About the ventilation thing, the only reason I decided to take mine off was because I noticed that none of the F-250 and 350's had the air dam and I liked the way it looked. I know that they do have leaf springs in the front instead of coil springs, but other than that I don't see any big difference. That was 5 months ago and I haven't noticed anything weird yet...
Sometimes I wish I left it on, and sometimes I'm glad I took it off, so I can't really say one way or another if it's worth it or not. Funny how such a small piece of seemingly insignificant plastic can make such a difference!
