Question Wheels interchangeable?

I've got a 2000 F-150 and am replacing the wheels and tires that came from the factory. I want to give the wheels and tires off my 2000 to my dad to put on his '95 F-150. Do you guys know if they'll fit his truck? The wheels are 16's and the tires are 235/70/R16's.

Well I understand that the 97's and up are the same, but are the 95's really different? If so, what is the lug pattern on them?

The '97-up uses a 5-bolt pattern in a 135mm (5.31") circle. I think the older F150s use 5-bolts in a 5.5" pattern.

For '00, Ford increased the lug-bolt diameter to 14mm. So even rims from a '97-'99 won't fit on a '00. (Been there, tried that.) Also, the new rims are hub-centric (vs lug-centric) and require the type of lugnuts you have on the '00. The old 1/2" acorn-style nuts that came on the '95 wont work right with the new rims and the new truck's lug-nuts won't work with the old rims.

If you must really know, you could always pull one off each truck and try it.
