I just received my new tires with lightning rims. The tires have a height of 31.4. My stock tires are 28.9. Will the 2.5 difference mess anything up. Please help.

FYI: new tires: 285/60/18

stock tires: 235/70/16

 

MESS? anything up? No. HOWEVER, if you want to obtain double precision accuracy with your stock specs, you will have to swap out a new tansfer case gear, tell your computer you changed tires from 31 and a half to a 30" tire (take it to a mechanic to get it reburned, not a wadd of $$$), swap in a new tans gear, etc. Obviously, a larger tire difference will sacrifice performance SLIGHTLY. SLIGHTLY.
