Biggest tires

Hi guys
I have a Ford F150 single cab 4x4 and i was wondering how big can i go with tires and rims and if anybody has any personal experince in this. I have no lift but i think i might be able to fit 305/70/16 in there without rubbing. I also wanted to go witha 16x10 inch rim. Just wondering what yall think about that and if anyone has any pics as to what it will look like that would be great. Well thanks in advance and I really appreciate the help.

Yes, you can fit a 305/70-16 (33x12.50) on a 16x10 inch wheel. You will have to crank up your torsion bars a little or trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. Here's a pic of my Screw before I lifted it. It has 285/75-16 (33x11.50) BFG AT KO's on 16x10 inch Eagle Alloys with 4 1/2 inches of backspacing.

Thanks and your screw looks great. Just one question though when u say 4 1/2 inch backspacing what do u mean. and if 285/75/16 are 33 inch tires then what are 305/70/16 and 295/75/16 are they all the same height but different widths. thanks for the pic and advice i really appreciate this

Backspacing is the measurement from the mounting surface of the rim (where the lugnut holes are) to back edge of the rims bead. Most aftermarket rims for our trucks have 4 1/2 or 4 5/8 inches of backspacing, which is approximately the same as stock. Essentially metric tire sizes convert as follows:
265/70-17 = 32x10.50-17
265/75-16 = 32x10.50-16
285/75-16 = 33x11.50-16
305/70-16 = 33x12.50-16
295/75-16 = 34x12.00-16
315/75-16 = 35x12.50-16

Thanks alot for the advice, havent quite made my desion yet though. it weird how a 295/75/16 tire is taller than a 305. So i wonder could I fit a 295/75/16 on my truck. which do yall consider is the better size tire in terms of handeling and power loss. thanks

I'd go with 305/70-16's. The only reason I have 285's is that BFG didn't make the AT KO's in 305/70-16 when I bought my truck.
