Tire Question
Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had Bridgestone Dueler M/T's. Do they roar on the highway and at what speeds? Also, how are they off road and how many miles do you think that you are going to be able to put on them. Thanks in advance.

Just thought I'd chime in, I put the Pep Boys Futura M/T's and the ride is unbelievable. They are GREAT tires, and $89 each!! VERY quiet, and 40,000 mile warranty. A friend of mine compared them to his BFG's and loved them. I driven them through snow mud, and they were great. Check them out at my website..

DGreen -
I had an earlier post but then ran across yours here: Did you notice any height difference when you went to the 265's. I am assuming you had the stock 255's and I am thinking about putting on the 265s for looks and height.

Hey guys!
Actually, I had those stock 235's on, which we all know are ridiculous. The 265's gave me about 2 1/2 incehs in height. My speedo was off about 4 mph at 55...otherwise, there have been no problems, the ride even feels exactly the same! The 265's were the biggest I could go without rubbing. (no lift) It really gave the truck a different look, it's amazing what just the tires can do for appearance.

r8735,
I went ahead and made the change from my General Grabbers 255/70/16 to BF Godrich All-Terrain TA KOs 265/75/16. Once my tires were off I had the tire guy hold the two tires next to each other. The 265/75s were about 1-1.5" taller (closer to 1.5"). I can definitely notice the height getting in/out and driving. I did lose a little smoothness of ride quality due to the tread but nothing major. The truck looks so much tougher with the wheel wells full and the more aggressive tread. I love 'em.

Looks good! What made you decide on the AT's rather that the MT's?

I had owned a set of the ATs on a previous truck and was fairly fond of them. Also I wanted a more aggressive look but generally drive on pavement. I figured the MTs might sacrifice a little more ride comort/smoothness.
I have still have the replacement tires from my 97 Expedtion on my 99 Expedition. They are Winston Fun And Mud Series, now discontinued series from Winston. The total Mileage on them to date is 44K and it looks Like I have another 15-20 left on the tread. The OEM of the Tire is Cooper and they have been great. I just put AMR ATLAS Wheels and BF Good Rich K/O Series tires on my 2000 Excursion 4x4 and the tire hoise went down a lot from the Firestone Tires that came with the OEM wheels. As for the ride I had FabTech raise the suspension 2" and changed out some suspension parts and added Rancho 9000. IT made the F-350 Ride more smoother and easier plus when I have my Grady on the back it does not seem to push the truck as much
