Ok, I really want to find out before I dive in if my "ideas" will work. I have a 99 f-150 4X4 and it has a 3" body lift. I want to run some 35" bfg mt km's, No big deal so far. what my question is, is will a 315/75/16 tire hit the upper A-arm with the side wall with stock wheels? Now i know the wheals are not wide enough, but since I plan to add the weld on bead locks to the stock steel wheels they should in turn end up to be 8-8.5 " wide. i just noticed that my 285/75/16's were close to the upper arm, and I dont want to do the bead locks on wheels that wont work. has anybody had there tires contact this with any size/backspaced wheel?
