wheels for 305-70-16

wheels for 305-70-16

I have a 2001 supercrew 4x4 and want to put **** cepek FC II 305's on it.First,will these fit with no rubbing and is it better to get a 10inch wheel or an 8,Also I have 17 inch wheels now,should I go to a 16inch?Thanks

Personally I think that a 10 inch wide rim looks better but that's a personal opinion. A 305/70-16 on a 16x10 rim will fit fine. You will have to crank up the torsion bars or trim a little plastic from the front bumper's lower plastic valance. Here's some pics of mine at stock height with 16x10's and 285/75-16's. They are the same height as 305's (33inch) but are an inch narrower.

I would go with the 10" wide rim. Just my prefence.

I like the extra "buldge" that the 16X8 provides and it also protects the rim better. It also helps the tire keep the beed in more extreme use and lower tire PSI.
