Im driver side front tire si rubbed prety bad on the inside. I took it to get aligned and the said i needed new lower ball joints. I have a 01 supercrew 75K miles on it. The rub had some completely flat places on it, is this something that could be true or are they trying to take my money?

 

Take a picture, its necessary. I dunno if tires could rub there. I have 305/45/22 tires and yes, those certainly rub. Parts in the I beams look polished, same to the sway bar. But the ball joints? I need a picture or two.

 

I have 35X12.5 and the only rubbing I do to my knowledge is the frame at full turn but would like to see a pic to see what you are talking about exactly.
