Thumbs up PowerSlot Rotors Available for 2WD

FYI, everyone, PowerSlot rotors are now available for our 2WD trucks made after 12/99 (in other words, those with 14mm lugs).

The part number for the front is 8753PSL and 8753PSR (L=Left, R=Right). These just came out less than a week ago.

The part number for the rear is 8759PSL and 8759PSR. These have been out for a while and are the same ones as for the Lightning. They'll fit any rear-disc F150 with 14mm studs, whether they're listed that way or not. PowerSlot didn't even know this until I told them, but I found out from Ford.

Anyway, just a heads-up. I'll be getting them as soon as I get the cash (probably around $450-$500 for a full set).

shop around some on the net for a better price - I replaced my front rotors with powerslots AND put on Hawk HPS pads for ~$300. I'm thinking the rotors cost around $160 for the pair.

Sounds like you have a 4x4. The brake systems are very different. The 2WD trucks (like mine) have an incorporated hub & rotor assembly for the front. This costs quite a bit more than 4x4 rotors, which don't include the hub (because they go on a drive axle).

The rotors for the 4x4 trucks do cost about $180 on TruckPerformance.com, which is where I got my price from. If you know of a better/cheaper PowerSlot dealer, please let me know. These guys have the best prices I've been able to find (and I've dealt with them before, so I know I can trust them...)

Thanks for the post, though, making sure your fellow F150 drivers don't getting ripped off!
