another wheel upgrade question

I've done the search and read the threads but still need clarification.
I have a 98 Expy and have an opportunity to get 2003 16" aluminum takeoffs. I guess my stud size is 12mm and these aluminums have stud holes that are bigger for the newer 14mm studs. From what I've read they will go on without a problem using my original lug nuts (nut with spinning washer attached) and I should use my original center caps.
My main question is; wont the wheels possibly spin on the hub due to the smaller stud when I brake hard or accelerate hard? Some threads say it will be fine others say they upgraded to larger studs to prevent this problem. Thanks.

No they won't. Guess what, the stud holes on your 98 wheels are the SAME SIZE as the 03. You can swap wheels from any truck 97-03. The only thing you have to keep track of is that you use 12mm lug nuts if you have 12mm studs or the same thing for 14mm studs.

Thanks for the info.
I haven't seen these new wheels yet but the guy that has them deals in new take off wheels, tires, seats, etc. He told me they had larger holes but wouldn't be a problem with my lug nuts. I'll clarify stud hole size when I go out there. Are the center holes the same diameter also?
