go with the Michelin LTXs, they come with a higher customer rating.
I was looking for tires to meet the same objective, deciding between Goodyear Fortera and Michelin Cross Terrain. I just ordered the Goodyear Fortera from Onlinetires.com for $124 per tire. Shipping is $50, and I will have to have them mounted and balanced.
